E85 fuel is a blend of 80–85% ethanol and 14–19% petrol. It is safe — but only for specially designed flex-fuel vehicles (FFVs). If your car or bike runs on regular petrol or E20, do not use E85 in it as the engine is not built to handle such high ethanol content.
